A NEW leader has arrived in Police Regional Office 1, and he brings with him the experience and qualifications needed for one of the most important police assignments in Northern Luzon.
PBGen. Crisaleo Tolentino has assumed command of PRO1 at a time when the public expects more from the police. People want safer communities, faster police response, stronger crime prevention and officers who are disciplined, professional and respectful.
Tolentino has spent years handling different police assignments. His experience in field commands, the Directorate for Operations and the Maritime Group has exposed him to different challenges in law enforcement and public safety.
That experience should serve him well as he takes charge of the police force in Ilocandia.
His priorities appear clear. He wants stronger police visibility, more effective crime prevention, intensified action against criminals and a police organization that is always ready to respond.
