MANILA, Philippines- Itinurn-over ng Pilipinas nitong Biyernes sa Humanitarian Air Bridge ang donasyon nitong supply para sa mga apektado ng humanitarian crisis sa Gaza, base sa Office of Civil Defense (OCD).
Binubuo ang donasyon ng 8,323 bonnets, 3,187 pares ng gloves, ay 20 kumot, dagdag nito.
Pinangunahan ni OCD Administrator and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Executive Director Undersecretary Ariel Nepomuceno ang turnover ng essential supplies sa NDRRMC Operations Center sa Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo.
Dumalo rin ang mga opisyal mula sa Jordanian Honorary Consulate maging ng Department of Foreign Affairs sa turnover ceremony.
“Today’s ceremony marks a significant moment in our efforts to support global humanitarian initiatives. It is an honor to gather here with our partners from the Jordanian Honorary Consulate and the DFA as we officially recognize the Philippines’ contribution to the Humanitarian Air Bridge Campaign of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,” pahayag ni Nepomuceno.
“We stand in solidarity with all those impacted by this tragedy and recognize the urgency of the situation.”
“With the ongoing humanitarian needs in Gaza, it is crucial that we step up and provide aid where it is most needed,” dagdag niya.
Libo-libong Palestinians na nawalan ng tahanan sa giyera sa pagitan ng Israel at Hamas ang nagsimula nang umuwi sa Gaza, ilang linggo na ang nakalilipas, batay sa ulat. Subalit, karamihan sa mga istraktura ay nasira na at walang kuryente at basic supplies.
