QUEZON CITY- Walang humpay ang pagbabantay ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) sa mga gusali ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators kontra krimen.
Inilahad ni NCRPO chief Police Major General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. na inilunsad ang programang “ReACT POGO” o Repress Acts of Criminals kung saan target ang mga POGO na nagbibigay-awtorisasyon sa pulisya na suriin ang POGO hubs sa Metro Manila.
“Meron tayong program to look after this business entity. These are called POGOs before eto ngayon ay internet gaming licensed group o business… Ang trabaho ng pulis diyan is of course inspeksyunin, before, 2 years ago almost 2 years ago maraming it’s been the subject of query inquiry by our senate as well as the congress dahil may mga kidnapping, robbery extortion, may serious illegal detention at meron death cases involving POGO personalities mga heads nila as well as employees nila sila sila mismo ang naging subject niyan,” pahayag ni Nartatez.
“When I was regional director of CALABARZON dinala natin dito sa Metro Manila ano magagawa ng PNP, so, it caused the relief of the chief of police of Metro Manila particularly Pasay when a POGO company was raided by a different combined operatives ng PAOCC, CIDG and so forth,” patuloy pa niya.
Anang opisyal, katuwang ng kapulisan ang mga lokal na pamahalaan laban sa kriminilidad na maaaring maganap sa loob ng mga gusaling ito.
“Naglabas tayo ng program, yan nga Repress Acts of Criminals targeting POGO. Actually sila sila yun eh. And so we do the usual inspection kami na mismo proactively pumupunta sa mga company na ito invoking the visitorial power of the chief of police in order to inspect them such that walang mga employees and or mga personalities sa premises nila na wanted person so and so forth.
