MANILA, Philippines- Ipinag-utos ni Land Transportation Office (LTO) Chief, Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II, ang karagdagang traffic personnel para sa inaasahang pagdagsa ng mga biyaherong umuuwi galing sa mga probinsya matapos ang holiday season.
Sinabi ni Mendoza nitong Huwebes na ibinigay ang direktiba sa lahat ng regional directors at mga pinuno ng iba pang LTO offices upang tiyakin ang presensya ng enforcers sa kalsada upang pangasiwaan ang trapiko at magpatupad ng road safety rules.
“We expect a huge volume of motor vehicles on the road leading to Metro Manila and other urban areas so we have to make our presence felt to ensure the safety of everybody as they travel back,” aniya.
Siniguro niya na may sapat na tauhan sa major thoroughfares upang asistihan ang mga motorista, partikular sa Metro Manila. RNT/SA
