MANILA, Philippines- Sinabi ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) na mayroong “good chance to complete the production and distribution” ng national identification cards (IDs) sa susunod na taon.
Sinabi ni PSA Deputy National Statistician Fred Sollesta na ang Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) at PSA ay nag-uugnayan para humanap ng paraan para ma-accelerate ang printing ng national IDs.
“Kung hindi man siya matapos within this year siguro next year, we have a good chance to complete ‘yung mga distribution and production ng mga physical cards,” ayon kay Sollesta.
“So ngayon kasi out of the 79 million registrations, ‘yung physical card na pini-print sa BSP, we are now at 37.8 million. So may mga 20 to 21 million pa tayo,” dagdag na wika nito.
Sa kasalukuyan, mula sa 79 million registrations, ang physical cards na iniimprenta ng BSP ay pumalo na sa 37.8 million.
Mayroon pa aniyang 20 hanggang 21 million ang natitira.
Tinuran ni Sollesta na ang bilang ng registered individuals ay 79.12 million, at ang ahensya ay nakagawa ng 76.17 million Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) numbers.
“As of May 2023″,” sinabi ng PSA na nakapag-imprenta na ito ng 65,050,382 million Philippine Identification System (PhilIDs) at ePhilIDs.
“Of the figure, 31,204,200 were delivered as of May 19, while 33,846,182 ePhilIDs were issued as of May 20,” ayon sa ulat.
“We ensure all the citizens na nag-register sa national ID will also receive the physical card which is printed at BSP,” ayon kay Sollesta sabay sabing iyong mga hindi pa nakatanggap ng kanilang printed IDs ay maaaring i-claim ang kanilang ePhilIDs sa https://appt.philsys.gov.ph.
Gaya ng physical card, ang pagki-claim ng printed ePhilID ay “free of charge.”
Mayroon itong kahalintulad sa physical cards, gaya ng unique QR code na maaaring i-scanned para sa authentication, na tatanggapin sa iba’t ibang transaksyon.
Samantala, nilinaw ng PSA na tanging PhilSys IDs na ide- deliver sa City of Manila ang apektado ng sunog sa Manila Central Post Office.
“PhilPost was able to give the number, around mga 7,500 ang affected. They have already forwarded the information including the data kung anong mga cards ang affected. We target that sometime in June, marerelease natin ‘yan sa PhilPost para ma deliver sa mga registrants,” lahad ni Sollesta. Kris Jose
