MANILA, Philippines- Walang diskusyon ng pagkakaroon ng reenacted budget para sa fiscal year 2025, ayon sa Malacañang nitong Lunes.
”In the past two meetings that I attended with them, there was never discussion on that (reenacted budget),” pahayag ni Presidential Communications Office Acting Secretary Cesar Chavez.
Sinabi ni Chavez na kumonsulta si Pangulong Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. kay Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, sa economic cluster, at sa kalihim ng Department of Public Works and Highways nitong umaga habang binubusisi ang proposed national budget para sa susunod na taon.
Dagdag niya, natanggap ang nakaimprentang kopya ng spending measure noong Biyernes ng hapon.
”President Marcos Jr. hopes to act on the measure before the year ends,” pahayag ni Chavez.
Titintahan sana ni Marcos ang P6.352 trillion national budget plan para sa susunod na taon noong December 20. Subalit, sinabi ni Bersamin na hindi ito itinuloy upang bigyang-daan mas masusing pagrebyu sa panukala. RNT/SA
