BUMISITA kamakailan ang 1Team Iloilo Cycling squad kabilang ang mga grassrooots level champion na sina Angela “Dayday” Bermejo, Hyarmel “Nonoy” Harder, coach Lorena Blanco, Francis Ray Espinos, Alfred Cagollo at Eliezer Matienzo sa opisina ni Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Chairman Atty. Richard S. Clarin sa Makati City.
Tinalakay ng 1team Iloilo kay Clarin ang ilang mahahalagang bagay sa grassroots cycling.
“Due to the lack of support, 1Team Iloilo aims to bridge the gap by conducting cycling seminars, trainings, meaningful promotional activities, and informative programs with their fellow constituents in Iloilo and the rest of the country,” ayon sa pahayag ng GAB.
“Being a motorist himself, the GAB Chairman shared his great love and support for the cycling community. As part of the GAB Chairman’s 3xPRO advocacy to promote, professionalize, and protect Philippine sports, Atty. Clarin supports 1Team Iloilo in this shared endeavour and is more than willing to lend a helping hand in promoting the sport and discovering future cyclists that would later on become professional athletes and take the country centerstage in international cycling events.”
