MANILA, Philippines – Isang QR code na lamang ang ipakikita ng mga pasahero sa lahat ng international airports sa buong bansa simula Mayo 10 para sa immigration at customs clearance.
“In the past, separate QR Codes were generated for the Bureau of Immigration and Bureau of Customs purposes,” sinabi ng BOC.
“However, following the recent system update, the BOC is now fully integrated with e-Travel. As a result, only one QR Code is now generated, which encompasses all declaration requirements for Immigration, Quarantine, and Customs.”
Dapat ipakita ng mga pasahero ang kanilang mga pasaporte sa Immigration officer para sa e-Travel registration confirmation, at ang kanilang QR codes sa Customs officer para sa clearance pagdating o bago umalis ng bansa.
Bukod sa e-Travel website, maaari ring punan ng mga biyahero ang electronic Customs Baggage Declaration Form (e-CBDF) at electronic Currencies Declaration Form (e-CDF) sa pamamagitan ng eGovPH mobile app sa loob ng 72 oras ng kanilang arrival o departure.
“The e-CBDF must be filled out by all arriving passengers, while the e-CDF is filled out by arriving and departing passengers when they are bringing in or taking out local and/or foreign currencies beyond the allowed threshold,” saad sa pahayag ng BOC nitong Huwebes, Mayo 9.
Inabisuhan ng BOC ang mga biyahero na magdadala ng foreign currencies na mahigit o katumbas ng USD10,000 ay dapat ideklara ang buong halaga sa e-CDF.
Para sa Philippine peso, maaari namang magdala ang isang pasahero palabas ng Pilipinas ng halagang hindi lalampas sa P50,000.
Para sa halagang higit sa P50,000, inoobliga ng BOC ang written authorization mula sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP); at deklarasyon ng kabuuang halaga sa e-CDF.
Nagbabala ang BOC sa false declarations o non-declaration ng Philippine o foreign currencies na magreresulta ito sa pagkumpiska ng nasabing halaga ng mga opisyal ng Customs. RNT/JGC
