MANILA, Philippines – Arestado ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang puganteng South Korean na wanted ng International Criminal Police Organization at Korean authorities.
Ayon sa BI, ang 34-anyos na si Seong Jeonghu ay naaresto sa entrapment operation noong Mayo 14 sa 7th Avenue sa Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, matapos na makatanggap ang mga awtoridad ng impormasyon sa presensya nito sa lungsod.
Sinabi ng BI na humingi ng tulong ang mga awtoridad ng South Korea sa pamahalaan ng Pilipinas matapos umalis si Seong sa kanilang bansa.
“According to the BI, Seong is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the Busan District Court in South Korea for alleged violation of the country’s National Sports Promotion Act. An Interpol red notice was likewise issued against him in April 2020,” saad sa kalatas ng BI.
