MANY Filipinos trust former military officers as public officials due to their strong leadership, extensive experience, and advanced education in handling both military and civilian matters. Their calm decision-making in crises and ability to stay focused under pressure enhance confidence in their leadership. Known for their mission-oriented dedication, they often work long hours to achieve their goals. Several former military officers, including current and former legislators, are running for public office in the upcoming May elections.
