ABERIN CRACKS SOWN HARD ON CORRUPT METRO COPS

IN a bold and uncompromising campaign to restore discipline and integrity within the police force, National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGen. Anthony Aberin has been making waves with his zero-tolerance policy against rogue cops.

His leadership has led to swift and decisive actions against officers involved in criminal activities, sending a clear message that corruption will not be tolerated under his watch.

Just this week, 15 police officers from Valenzuela City were relieved from duty following allegations of extortion.

Among those removed were two unit chiefs and 13 non-commissioned officers, after three investigators were caught in an entrapment operation.

Valenzuela Police chief Col. Nixon Cayaban emphasized that the internal house-cleaning was a reflection of Aberin’s strong directive: remove the bad eggs before they taint the entire organization.

Aberin’s iron-fisted approach was further demonstrated in Parañaque, where seven police officers — among them a major, a lieutenant, and several patrolmen — were arrested for allegedly extorting P100,000 from a Chinese businessman during a checkpoint operation.

One suspect remains at large, but Aberin made it clear that no one will be spared. “No scalawag will go scot-free,” he said, underscoring his commitment to purge the NCR police ranks through due process and solid evidence.

Under Aberin’s leadership, the culture of impunity among Metro Manila police officers is being dismantled piece by piece.

His unflinching resolve to uphold justice within the force has earned both public support and the attention of those who once believed they were above the law.

If this trend continues, the NCRPO may finally begin to regain the public’s trust— thanks in large part to a general who means business.
