MANILA, Philippines- Inihayag ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) na kumuha sila ng karagdagang 30 bagong opisyal na ipakakalat sa mga paliparan sa bansa.
Ang mga bagong opisyal ay nagtapos noong Marso 21 matapos sumailalim sa pagsasanay para sa Border Control Officers’ Module (BCOM) I.
“Through rigorous training, they have developed the expertise needed to secure our borders while ensuring efficient service for travelers,” ayon kay BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado.
“Their deployment is a testament to our commitment to modernization and excellence,” dagdag oa ng opisyal.
Ayon sa Learning and Development Section (LDS) ng BI, ang mga bagong opisyal ay sumailalim sa limang linggong intensive training sa Philippine Immigration Academy training facility sa Intramuros, Manila.
“The program covered essential immigration laws, arrival and departure protocols, document examination, and national security enforcement,” pahayag ng BI.
“The class is composed of 16 female and 14 male officers, reflecting an almost equal gender distribution,” wika pa ng BI.
Sinabi ni Viado na ang mga bagong opisyal na ito ay kumakatawan sa kinabukasan ng imigrasyon sa Pilipinas. JR Reyes
