MANILA, Philippines – Suspendido ang trabaho ngayong araw, Oktubre 24 ang lahat ng korte sa Luzon kabilang ang Supreme Court (SC), Court of Appeals (CA), Sandiganbayan at Court of Tax Appeals (CTA).
Ang kautusan na work suspension ay batay sa pinirmahan na memorandum ni Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo.
Bunsod ito ng inanunsyo ni Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin na walang pasok ngayong araw ang lahat ng opisina ng gobyerno maging ang lahat ng klase sa public at private schools sa Luzon.
Nagdesisyon ang SC na isuspinde ang trabaho ng mga korte sa buong Luzon dahil sa inaasahang malakas na buhos ng ulan na dulot ng Tropical Storm Kristine.
Sa SC, iniutos ang skeletal force sa Docket-Receiving Section ng Judicial Records Office, Cash Collection and Disbursement Division, Financial Management at Budget Office.
Mahigpit din ang tagubilin sa mga trial courts na dapat naa-access agad ng mga abugado, court users, at litigants ang kanilang contact numbers at official email addresses para matugunan ang anumang concerns.
“In judicial regions outside of Luzon that may experience heavy rains and/or floodings on Oct. 24, 2024, the executive judges/presiding judges are reminded to comply with what is provided in OCA Circular No. 353-2023 dated 19 October 2023 when suspension court operations.” TERESA TAVARES
