MANILA, Philippines- Iginiit ng abogado ni Apollo Quiboloy ang mga kondisyon ng pastor para kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na mag-isyu ito ng written declaration na hindi siya ibibigay sa United States, kung saan sila nahaharap sa conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, coercion, at sex trafficking of children.
Ipinahiwatig ni Atty. Israelito Torreon, abogado at tagapagsalita ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ religious group, na ang ikinakasa ng kampo Quiboloy na legal remedies sa gitna ng warrants of arrest laban sa kanya ay maaaring matigil sakaling magpalabas si Marcos ng written commitment.
Inihayag ito ni Torreon sa patuloy na pgtugis ng mga pulis kay Quiboloy. Nagtungo ang mga awtoridad sa KOJC compound sa Davao City upang magsilbi ng warrant sa pastor.
Nang tanungin kung istratehiya ni Quiboloy na gamitin lahat ng kanyang legal options habang nagtatago, sinabi ni Torreon, “That is within our rule of law.”
“Ultimately, the final decision rests with Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. Maybe that will end if President Marcos will really issue a written declaration that he will not be extraordinarily rendered to the United States of America,” giit ng abogado.
“He has always been consistent In that regard,” dagdag niya.
Nang tanungin hinggil sa kahalagahan ng kondisyon kay Quiboloy, sinbai ni Torreon, “Simply because of the fact that he wants to clear his name here, because the case really is weak and know that this was dismissed already in the past by the city prosecution office.”
“Defective pa nga yung petition for review, dapat dismissible ‘yun,” wika pa niya.
Sa US, nahaharap din si Quiboloy sa mga kasong fraud, and coercion; sex trafficking of children; marriage fraud; fraud and misuse of visas; bulk cash smuggling; promotional money laundering; concealment money laundering; at international promotional money laundering.
Mariin namang itinanggi ng pinuno ng KOJC ang mga alegasyon laban sa kanya. RNT/SA
