MANILA, Philippines – May mga bago umanong ebidensya si Senador Panfilo “Ping” Lacson patungkol sa double billing at koleksyon kaugnay sa infrastructure projects sa Taguig City.
Ang lungsod ay kilalang balwarte ni dating Senate president Alan Peter Cayetano.
Ani Lacson, sangkot sa isang kaso ang dalawang umano’y magkaibang proyekto na may parehong larawan para sa billing purposes, habang ang isa pa ay ang single slope protection project na nakatanggap ng dalawang hiwalay na budget appropriations.
“TAGUIG GHOST INFRA PROJECTS UPDATE #4: Two different projects, two distinct appropriations, two different technical descriptions and locations, two different contractors, but sharing the same photo for billing purposes. Status: both billed and collected,” sinabi ni Lacson na pinatutungkulan ang unang kaso.
“(The second case involves) One slope protection project, one location, one technical description, two separate budget appropriations. Status: both billed and collected,” dagdag niya.
“Are these not criminal acts?”
Ang mga pinakabagong ebidensya ay nagdagdag sa lumalagong listahan ng mga ebidensya na nakalap ni Lacson at ng kanyang team sa maanomalyang infrastructure projects sa Taguig City.
“The full details and pieces of evidence will be turned over to the Ombudsman or presented during the Blue Ribbon Committee hearings when called,” ani Lacson.
Samantala, sinabi rin ng senador na ang ugali at kung guilty o inosente ang isang tao ay nakikita umano sa kung paano ito tutugon kung ang integridad ay inaatake.
”BE NOT AFRAID. When one’s integrity is attacked, his character is revealed and tested. The guilty bargains and pleads; the innocent stands his ground and challenges his attacker on even terms,” sinabi pa ni Lacson.
