MANILA, Philippines- Nagbabala ang Department of Agriculture (DA) nitong Biyernes sa publiko laban sa mga indibdiwal na gumagamit sa pangalan ni Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. sa solicitation at iba pang ilegal na aktibidad.
“It has come to our attention that some individuals are impersonating the Secretary on various social media platforms and messaging apps, soliciting financial assistance and engaging in other unlawful activities,” anang DA.
Hinikayat ng ahensya ang publiko na balewalain ang parehong hirit at direktang iulat ito sa Office of the Secretary (OSEC).
Sa hiwalay na memorandum, sinabi rin ni Undersecretary and Chief-of-Staff Alvin John Balagbagsa ibang opisyal at empleyado na walang koneksyon at awtorisasyon si Tiu Laurel na mangalap ng financial aid.
“All instructions from the Secretary shall be through written communication with his signature and sent through the official email account of the Office of the Secretary,” wika niya.
