Sa pahayag, sinabi ng DOH na sa imbestigasyon ng pamunuan ng PGH, “no unusual or dangerous reasons were found for this situation, and the number may also decrease after a few days.”

“We are already talking to PGH for the possible transfer of their current patients to DOH hospitals,” ayon kay Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, na minsan na ring naging hepe ng PGH department of emergency medical services.

“All hospitals, clinics, ambulances and doctors are advised to refrain from bringing new patients to PGH, and to bring them to DOH hospitals first,” dagdag ng kalihim.

Sinabi ng DOH na dapat kontakin muna ang
Metro Manila Center for Health Development bago maglipat ng pasyente.

Ang mga itinalagang ospital sa Metro Manila kung saan maaaring dalhin ang mga pasyente ay ang Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium sa Caloocan City; Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center; San Lorenzo Ruiz General Hospital sa Malabon City; National Center for Mental Health sa Mandaluyong City; Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center sa Marikina City; Research Institute for Tropical Medicine sa Muntinlupa City; Rizal Medical Center sa Pasig City; at Valenzuela Medical Center.
