APOLLO Quiboloy, who calls himself the ‘Appointed Son of God,’ used to live like a king in his mansion. His luxury watches, just like his private jets, could feed hundreds of families for months.
But where does his wealth come from? It’s from his followers—most of them were regular workers earning minimum wage, yet they were forced to give 10% of their salary to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC).
According to him, God’s will flows through him and his followers believe it without question.
Despite Jesus living a simple life, Quiboloy claims he’s just like Jesus—though Jesus didn’t own private jets or live in a lavish compound, huh!
Quiboloy’s so-called ‘talent’ in preaching has attracted over six million members, many of whom struggle to make ends meet but continue to give their money, believing it would save them from hell.
When questioned why his followers suffer while he enjoys a life of luxury, Quiboloy confidently replies, “This is God’s plan.”
But there’s more to the story. Quiboloy has been accused of kidnapping and brainwashing his followers, controlling their every move.
Yet, when asked, Quiboloy insists that anyone can leave if they want.
“If they leave, they’d go to hell. If they want to go to hell, no one would stop them,” he said, casting a dark shadow over those who’d dare to leave.
In the end, there’re only three possibilities: Quiboloy is either truly the Son of God, dangerously delusional or a highly successful conman.
One person who seems to share Quiboloy’s delusions is the former President Rodrigo Duterte.
Quiboloy and Duterte are close friends, and they both built their empires on fear, manipulation, and power.
Duterte’s infamous war on drugs is not much different from Quiboloy’s control over his kingdom—both use their platforms to deceive and exploit the masses while enjoying wealth and comfort.
Their relationship raises serious questions about how Duterte allowed a man like Quiboloy to flourish during his presidency.
Could it be that Quiboloy and Duterte are cut from the same cloth—both delusional, or are they just cunning conmen exploiting the people for their own gain?
