MANILA, Philippines – ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. si Supreme Court spokesperson Brian Keith Hosaka bilang commissioner ng Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG).
Ang GCG ay may mandato na bantayan ang ownership rights ng bansa at tiyakin na ang operasyon ng government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) ay transparent at responsive.
Bago pa ang kanyang appointment, nagsilbi si Hosaka bilang tagapagsalita sa ilalim ni retired Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin, retired Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta, at Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo.
Si Hosaka rin ay nagsilbing Assistant Court Administrator (ACA) at Public Information Office (PIO) Chief bago mahirang bilang GCG Commissioner.
“Hosaka… was instrumental in ushering several initiatives that have further enhanced the dissemination of information about the Court and its activities, thus bringing the Courts closer to the public,” ayon sa Korte Suprema.
