MANILA, Philippines – Mahigit 7,000 katao sa 17 rehiyon ang nakinabang sa libreng tuberculosis (TB) screening at iba pang serbisyong medikal ng Department of Health (DOH) sa ilalim ng Nationwide Simultaneous Active Case Finding initiative.
Kabilang sa mga libreng serbisyo ang chest X-ray, tuberculin skin test, sputum confirmatory testing, HIV testing at counseling, at health education.
Ayon sa DOH, prayoridad nito ang pagpapatupad ng Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (TPT) matapos maitala ang 192,733 kaso ng TB mula Enero hanggang Hunyo 2025.
