FRANCE – Isa ang patay habang isa ang sugatan matapos ang pag-atake malapit sa Eiffel Tower, sa Paris, France ayon kay Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin nitong Sabado, Disyembre 2.
“The police have just courageously arrested an assailant attacking passersby in Paris, around the Quai de Grenelle. One deceased person, and one injured person [was] treated by the Paris fire brigade. Please avoid the area,” saad sa post ng minister.
Ayon sa ulat, ang suspek ay sumigaw ng “Allahu Akbar” (God is Greatest) ngunit hindi pa nakukumpirma.
“The assailant was neutralized very quickly by police. We tried to save the life of this man. It’s a man who died and they (the people who were attacked) were tourists,” ani Dr. Patrick Pelloux.
Sa impormasyon, ang lalaking nasawi ay isang German nationality at ang ginamit na armas ng assailant ay martilyo.
Ang insidente ay nangyari sa Paris walong buwan na lamang bago ang paghohost ng France sa Olympic Games. RNT/JGC
