Through highly coordinated and intelligence-driven operations, NCRPO has consistently taken down dangerous criminals and apprehended some of the region’s most notorious fugitives.
On August 1, 2025, the NCRPO achieved major successes with the arrest of two top criminals in separate operations.
The first arrest occurred at the Five Star Bus Terminal in Quezon City, where a man wanted for lascivious conduct was captured. Just hours later, another fugitive, ranked as the 7th most-wanted person in Metro Manila, was apprehended in Montalban, Rizal, for a qualified rape case.
These significant arrests highlight NCRPO’s determination to rid the streets of dangerous individuals and send a strong message to criminals that there is no place to hide in Metro Manila.
In addition to these arrests, NCRPO achieved another milestone the day before, when they captured Metro Manila’s number one most-wanted criminal in Caloocan City.
This individual had evaded capture for months but was finally arrested for a murder charge.
Aberin emphasized the importance of this operation, asserting, “No amount of hiding will protect criminals from the long arm of the law.”
His statement reinforces the unwavering commitment of the NCRPO to swiftly and efficiently bring justice to those who break the law.
The NCRPO’s operations extend beyond fugitive apprehensions. They are also intensifying their fight against illegal drugs.
A recent buy-bust operation in Navotas City led to the confiscation of over ₱1.6 million worth of illegal drugs, including shabu, Ecstasy, and marijuana oil cartridges.
The suspect, a well-known drug dealer, now faces serious legal consequences.
Through these ongoing efforts, the NCRPO remains steadfast in its mission to create a safer Metro Manila, proving that no criminal can escape justice.
