MANILA, Philippines – Bahagyang bumaba pa sa 3.5% ang COVID-19 positivity rate sa bansa hanggang nitong Agosto 4.
Ito ang sinabi ni OCTA Research Group fellow Dr. Guido David nitong Sabado, Agosto 5 sa isang tweet kung saan 0.4 percent ang ibinaba nito mula sa 3.9 percent na naitala noong Hulyo 29.
“The Department of Health (DOH) reported 154 new cases, four deaths, 281 recoveries. About 29 of the new cases are from the National Capital Region, projecting 100 to 150 new cases the next day (August 5),” ani David.
Sa ngayon, ang overall tally ng COVID-19 sa bansa ay nasa 4,173,631 sa 3,832 aktibong kaso.
Ang kabuuang bilang naman ng mga nasawi dahil sa sakit ay nasa 66,626.
“XBB 2.3 Acrux was most prevalent at 30 percent followed by XBB 1.16 Arcturus at 24 percent,” ani David. RNT/JGC
