AS Central Luzon prepares to enter 2026, the demand for disciplined, intelligent and principled policing has never been greater.

In this landscape, Police Regional Office 3 stands out — not through noise or spectacle, but through quiet consistency and decisive action.

With the region’s safety as its compass, PRO3 has carved an impressive twin-month performance that reflects the strength of its leadership and the unity of its mission.

At the helm is PRO3 Director PBGen Rogelio “Pojie” Peñones Jr., whose steady command complements the national vision of Acting Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio “Tateng” Nartatez Jr., architect of the Philippine National Police Focused Agenda and 3Ps Strategic Direction.

Together, they form a leadership tandem that drives accountability, precision and purpose.

November marked PRO3’s defining stride. In just four days, all individuals in the Regional Top Most Wanted Persons list were accounted for — a rare operational feat.

The month continued with 724 anti-drug operations, 1,077 arrests, and ₱25.3 million worth of illegal drugs seized, including 3.67 kilos of shabu.

Parallel operations resulted in 655 arrests of wanted persons, 266 loose firearms recovered and 138 cases filed.

The internal cleansing campaign remained firm as well, with 17 personnel dismissed, 14 suspended, and five demoted.

December carried this momentum forward. Six Regional MWPs were arrested in the first week alone through enhanced intelligence and cyber-assisted tracking.

High-Value Individuals in Talavera and Santa Maria were taken down with nearly ₱3.5 million worth of shabu seized, while major arrests in Olongapo and Orani neutralized suspects in rape and lascivious conduct cases.

To further fortify its operational readiness, PRO3 also received 11 brand-new Toyota Innovas and eight Yamaha NMAX units — crucial additions for mobility and rapid response across the region.

As 2026 begins, PRO3 moves forward with unmistakable clarity. Under the national guidance of Lt. Gen. Nartatez and the steadfast leadership of PBGen Peñones, Central Luzon is protected by a force silent in posture yet unstoppable in performance.
