MANILA, Philippines – Nanawagan si Vice President Sara Duterte sa mga Filipino na lumahok sa mga aktibidad para masiguro ang kaligtasan sa mga tirahan, paaralan at komunidad laban sa mga sunog.
Ito ay kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Fire Prevention Month, kung saan naglabas siya ng video message bilang pagsuporta sa Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) at mga fire volunteer sa pagprotekta sa mga buhay at ari-arian.
Aniya, bagamat nagdudulot ng matinding pinsala ang mga sunog, maiiwasan ito sa pamamagitan ng tamang awareness at kahandaan.
“I encourage everyone to support the Bureau of Fire Protection, local governments, and volunteer organizations in spreading fire safety awareness and fostering a culture of preparedness,” ani Duterte.
“Through this, we can safeguard ourselves, our families, and our communities from the dangers of fire.”
Nanawagan din ito na isama ang safety education sa mga paaralan, tirahan at trabaho.
“Every Filipino has a responsibility to be informed, vigilant, and actively participate in fire safety drills in their communities. Together, we can build a nation that is more prepared, safer, and more resilient.” RNT/JGC
