HELP IS ONE TAP AWAY WITH ‘V-ALERT BUTTON’ APP

THE Valenzuela City government has launched a new mobile application called ‘V-Alert Button’ that would make disaster and emergency response ‘just one tap away,’ Mayor Wes Gatchalian said.

This new alert mobile application would effectively strengthen the local government’s disaster and emergency response city-wide.

“This cutting-edge mobile application serves as a lifeline in times of crisis, providing access to a comprehensive range of emergency services with just a tap on your smartphone,” according to Gatchalian.

The V-Alert Button is a game-changer, offering immediate connections to crucial services including ambulance, fire station, police rescue, women and child protection, animal rescue, traffic management, and waste management, according to the city’s Public Information Office.

“By harnessing the power of technology, it empowers the community to take control of their safety, knowing that help is always within reach,” the mayor said.

All the residents could do is down-load the V-Alert Button App for free from the App Store or Google Play Store, and “remain responsible reporters of emergency rescue situations at any time anywhere.”

“With V-Alert, help is just one tap away,” Gatchalian reiterated.

                 Malabon inaugurates more infra projects

City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval announced that her administration has opened for the public more infrastructure projects primarily aimed for the residents’ safety and security.

Accompanied by City Administrator Alex Rosete and the mayor’s husband, ex-congressman Ricky Sandoval, she led other key city officials in inaugurating the new footbridge and an outpost, both in Barangay Tonsuya.

The mayor stressed that the infrastructure projects were part of her administration’s ‘Malabon, Ahon’ programs primarily aimed for the residents’ interest and well-being.

“The construction of these projects is a testament to the commitment of the local government to intensify the safety and security of its residents,” she said.

On May 6, the mayor inaugurated the renovated Muzon Dulo Basketball Covered Court and Muzon Multi-Purpose Hall both in Barangay Muzon, and various alleys along Katarungan Street as well as the Kaunlaran St. including drainages in the area.
